Twenty-three people who were supposed to travel to Indonesia in May are suing their travel insurance companies, claiming they were never refunded their money after the trip was canceled.

The group is part of Odysseys Study Tours, which was started by two North Idaho College professors. The trip was called off after riots broke out in Indonesia and the State Department issued a warning against travel there.

The plaintiffs are suing Travel Guard International, Cigna Property and Casualty Insurance Company, Insurance Company of North America, Cigna Companies and Noel Group, according to court papers filed last week.

Each of the plaintiffs is seeking more than $10,000 in damages.
