Watch night

The St. Maries Assembly of God Church will ring in the new year with “Watch Night ‘98” from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday.

Performers will include the church’s choir and singer Jimmy Blackwood, a Grammy winner who has performed with the Stamps Quartet and the Blackwood Brothers Quartet.

Refreshments will be available, and the event is free.

The church is on the corner of 23rd and Washington in St. Maries. (208) 245-3030.
