Arizona: The Wildcats feature the speedy quarterback tandem of Keith Smith and Ortege Jenkins, along with one of the Pacific-10 Conference’s most productive running backs in Trung Canidate, who rushed for 1,220 yards and averaged 7.3 yards per carry this fall. Arizona is coming off a 50-42 win over arch-rival Arizona State in which Canidate ran for 288 yards and scored on runs of 80, 66 and 48 yards.

Nebraska: Frank Solich could become the first rookie coach at Nebraska to win 10 games. On the flip side, however, the Cornhuskers lost three games in the regular season for the first time since 1978, failed to land an invitation to a traditional New Year’s Day bowl game for the first time since 1980 and are trying to avoid their first four-loss season since 1968.
