The marriage of Emily Theresa Shanks to Jason Scott Scelfo was solemnized in a Dec. 27 ceremony at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church.

Michael and Joan Shanks, Spokane, are parents of the bride. Scelfo is the son of John and Diane Scelfo, Spokane.

A reception was at the Spokane Country Club. The Scelfos are living in Chicago after a honeymoon in Jamaica.
