Ritzville Keeps Rolling, Wraps Up Division Title

Ritzville collected the Bi-County League West Division title after defeating Wilbur-Creston 48-38 Saturday night in Creston.
It was Ritzville’s 28th straight win.
The Broncos (18-0 overall, 9-0 league) hit 20 of 37 from the field, including Shannon Russel’s four 3-pointers.
Erin Weber had five assists and Jammie Alspach combined with Megan Yerxa on 13 rebounds for the No. 1 Broncos. W-C (11-5, 6-2), which shared the West title with Ritzville last year, has secured second place.

The Falcons (11-7, 6-2) wrapped up first place in the East Division, defeating the second-place Lancers (11-8, 4-4) in Harrington.
Mandi Walters scored a game-high 21 points to go with nine rebounds, six assists and five steals, and Kristy Engles had 12 rebounds for S-H.
Liberty shot 10 for 51 from the field and 20 for 33 from the line. The Falcons hit 20 of 48 field-goal attempts and 21 of 31 free throws.
