Bsu Picks Johnson
The former director of men’s and women’s track and field at the University of Washington is the new men’s and women’s head track and field coach at Boise State University.
Mike Johnson is replacing Ed Jacoby, who retired for a second time in December.
Johnson has been at Washington since 1986 when he was named an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s programs and head coach of the men’s and women’s cross country teams. In 1994 he was named coordinator of the men’s and women’s track and field and cross country teams. Johnson became the director of the track and field and cross country programs in 1995.
