Bishop Will Speak About Death Penalty

Bishop William Skylstad of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Spokane will speak on the Catholic Church’s position on the death penalty at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The discussion, sponsored by the Gonzaga University chapter of Amnesty International, will be in the Jepson Center auditorium on the Gonzaga campus.

The event is part of Gonzaga’s “Rock Your Thoughts” activities designed to increase awareness on a variety of issues.

The talk is free, and the public is invited to attend.
