Multiple-Vehicle Accident Injures 11

A car driven by an unlicensed juvenile crashed into a van on Sunday, causing a multiple-vehicle accident that injured 11 people, police said.

The northbound car collided with the westbound van at an intersection at about 1:15 p.m., police said.

The van lost control and swerved into eastbound traffic, hitting a car and a transit bus, police said.

Eleven people were injured and taken to area hospitals. The investigation was continuing. No citations have been issued.
