John Randle has more sacks than any player in the NFL over the past seven seasons. Now he’s going to earn more money than any defensive player in history.

Randle agreed to a $32.5-million, five-year contract Tuesday, taking advantage of the NFL’s new multibillion-dollar television pact to grab the biggest contract ever given to a defender.

The Miami Dolphins took a giant step toward improving their dormant ground attack by signing former Tennessee Oilers guard Kevin Donnalley to a four-year deal reportedly worth more than $3.8-million a season.

Rashaan Salaam wants out of Chicago and the Bears have announced they are trying to trade the former Heisman Trophy winner.

New York Jets kicker John Hall has been arrested on charges of carrying marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
