John Randle has more sacks than any player in the NFL over the past seven seasons. Now he’s going to earn more money than any defensive player in history.

Randle agreed to a $32.5-million, five-year contract Tuesday, taking advantage of the NFL’s new multibillion-dollar television pact to grab the biggest contract ever given to a defender.
