Egghead.Com Forms Alliance With Yahoo!

Egghead.com has become a “premier computer and software merchant” on Yahoo!, a leading Internet guide.

Beginning Thursday, Yahoo! users have access to Egghead.com’s assortment of computer, software and related products throughout computer-related areas within the Yahoo! network of properties.

Egghead.com, which operates three electronic commerce Web sites on the Internet, is the first computer-related merchant in Yahoo!’s premier merchant program. That program currently includes merchants in areas such as autos, videos, books, travel, music and online stock trading.

Spokane-based Egghead was formerly a traditional retailer, but is closing its retail outlets nationwide and switching exclusively to sales on the Internet. Egghead’s Spokane store will close this weekend. , DataTimes
