Improved Skills Important For New Year

East Valley Middle School

These New Year’s resolutions were offered by students in Tim Busse’s New Beginning alternative program for seventh- and eighth-graders at East Valley Middle School:

Nick Bliesner: “Improve drawing skills.”

E.J. Breckenridge: “I would like to sing at the bass level in choir.”

Heidi Clark: “Talk more in class.”

Katie Clark: “Lose weight and improve writing skills.”

Chad Domitrovich: “Get along with other people, go snowboarding, travel around the world, learn how to do jumps on the half pipe with my bicycle and go to Disneyland.”

Adam Hergert: “Learn tricks on my bicycle in the snow.”

Amber Kennedy: “Improve soprano half of singing skills.”

Amy Jo Mills: “Be a better person.”

Brandon Reeves: “I would like to go skyboarding.”

Matt Whitney: “Be a better bike rider in the snow; improve homework.”

Eric Whitten: “Improve Rollerblading tricks, go to Mardi Gras and go to Lollapalooza next year.”
