Enis Sparks Reign To Another Victory

Shalonda Enis scored a franchise-record 39 points Sunday to lead the visiting Seattle Reign to an 88-80 win over the Long Beach StingRays.

Kate Starbird added 15 points as Seattle won its second straight game after snapping a 10-game losing streak Friday. Enis scored 22 of her 39 in the first half.

Cindy Brown held the previous Seattle franchise record with 37 points against New England on Feb. 15. Enis’ 39-point effort bested her previous career-best of 33 points against Philadelphia on Nov. 12.
