Other uses for soft eyeglass cases:

Hold a magnifier in one.

Use to hold remote controls; be sure and mark the case “TV” or “VCR.” - Sister Clara Linz, Baltimore

Those are great uses! Here are a few others that may be helpful:

Convenient holder for small cellular phones.

Put in your purse to store pens, pencils, emery boards.

Great for keeping crochet hooks and scissors handy for projects. - Heloise

Dear Heloise: Now that I’ve reached the age when my arms are too short for me to be able to read a map when driving without my reading glasses, I use one of those personal memo recorders to record the directions before I start driving. I only need to press a button to hear the directions, and I don’t have to take my eyes off the road. - Sandra Smith, Camarillo, Calif.

Don’t you just hate when that happens! A great idea for those of us with “short” arms. - Heloise
