The North Idaho College women’s basketball team had to use all of a 14-point halftime advantage to hold off Snow College 56-51 in a SWAC game Thursday at Christianson Gym.

The Cardinals (10-2 overall, 2-2 in conference) opened a 32-18 lead after the opening 20 minutes. But turnovers and a leaky defense allowed Snow (10-6, 2-3) to come back.

Both teams finished with 31 turnovers.

Becki Huddle was the lone Cardinal to reach double figures with 15 points. Amber Russell led Snow with 11.
