James T. Roberts Spokane
James T. Roberts turns 100 today. He was born Jan. 13, 1898, in Spokane.
During World War I, Mr. Roberts served in the Navy. He owned the Milkhouse Dairy in Pullman for 35 years, and was postmaster in Pullman for 15 years. He has lived in Spokane for the past 30 years.
His wife of 68 years, Edythe, died in 1990.
Their children are Janet Mooers, Carmel, Calif.; Nancy Burnett, Spokane; and the late Eleanor Harris. He has five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Roberts attributes his longevity to a loving family, good friends, and wanting to live long enough to see the Cougars play in the Rose Bowl.
