Mead High School grad Jan-Michael Gambill was eliminated from the Australian Open in an early first-round match today.

Gambill, who last week won a qualifying spot in the tournament, lost to Alex O’Brien of Amarillo, Texas, 3-6, 7-5, 6-1, 6-3.
