Plane Lands Safely After Landing Gear Trouble

A Northwest Airlines plane made a precautionary landing Tuesday afternoon after experiencing trouble with its landing gear, Spokane International Airport officials said.

The flight, headed for Minneapolis, took off from the Spokane airport just after 4 p.m. After having trouble with the landing gear, the pilot turned the plane around and landed it without any further problems, officials said.

Airport officials did not know if the flight was canceled as a result. , DataTimes
