Woman Dies After Car Slides Off Road

A 62-year-old Priest River, Idaho, woman died Saturday afternoon when her car slid off slushy U.S. 2, 16 miles south of here, the Montana Highway Patrol said.

The woman’s 64-year-old husband was hospitalized after the vehicle they were traveling in failed to negotiate a curve, overturned and landed on its roof in a creek.

The name of the victims were being withheld until their family could be notified. xxxx
