Holiday Closures

The Fourth of July holiday will be observed Friday for some. The following services are affected:

Banks: Commercial banks are open Friday. Check with credit unions for closures.

Mail: There will be delivery on Friday, but not Saturday. Post office box service will be provided at the Riverside and Liberty Park stations Saturday. There will be limited window service at all branches Friday.

Government offices: Closed Friday and Saturday.

Libraries: Spokane city and county branches are open Friday, closed Saturday.

Parking meters: Must be fed on Friday, but not Saturday.

Buses: Spokane Transit Authority service is on a Sunday schedule with special pick-ups for Fourth of July activities downtown Friday and Saturday. Call 325-6000 for information.

Garbage: City and county pick-ups continue on the regular schedule.
