Benjamin Frank Enlists As Army Systems Operator
Benjamin L. Frank, a 1995 Post Falls High School graduate and son of Vicki Pagel of Rathdrum, has enlisted in the Army as a network switching systems operator-maintainer and has departed for basic and advanced individual training at Fort Jackson, S.C.
Daniel A. Webster, son of Dorothy Waddel of Post Falls and grandson of Ray Baechner of Bonners Ferry, has enlisted in the Army as a multichannel transmission systems operator and departed for basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C.
Faith D. McCall, a 1992 Troy High School graduate who received an associate degree from Lewis-Clark State College in 1996, has been commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Army through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program after graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston.
McCall is the daughter of Barbara and Jason Vogtman of Troy and granddaughter of Sara May of Bovill, Idaho.
Jason M. Nierman of Moscow has been commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Army through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program after graduating with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho in Moscow.
Army Spec. Shanna L. Sampson, daughter of Donald Sampson of Genesee, Idaho, and Vicki Tesice of Deer Park, has deployed on a temporary duty assignment to Comayagua, Honduras, as a member of a Joint Task Force-Bravo.
Sampson, a 1993 Deer Park High School graduate, is one of 750 soldiers and airmen, along with 1,100 civilians, assigned to JTF-Bravo, whose primary mission is to provide command and control, administrative and logistical support to exercises, deployments, and humanitarian and civic assistance operations conducted in the Republic of Honduras.
