Man Arrested After High-Speed Chase

A Post Falls man who led Shoshone County sheriff’s deputies on a brief high-speed chase was arrested on three driving-related charges.

Ethan M. Lepinski, 33, was booked into the Shoshone County Jail on charges of felony eluding, reckless driving and operating a vehicle with a revoked license.

Sheriff’s deputies said they began chasing a 1975 Ford pickup beside the North Fork River near Kingston on Friday night. Speeds exceeded 70 mph before the truck turned onto Bumble Bee Road.

The truck stopped nearly a mile later and deputies arrested Lepinski, who was identified as its driver.
