Who’s the “Mightiest Veterinarian in America”? Dr. Charles Beauchamp of Franklin, Tenn., won the national honor recently. Nashville resident Dolores Jean Jackson nominated him in appreciation of the “genuine compassion” he has shown her dogs, including her Bedlington terrier Cleo, pictured with the good doctor. The contest was sponsored by Friskies PetCare Co. to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Mighty Dog canned dog food.
