Jack D. and Virginia (Nissen) McElroy, Cusick, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 18 with a private gathering.

Hosts for the event will be their children and spouses: Jack and Gayle McElroy, Sandpoint; Phillip and Janis McElroy, Ketchikan, Alaska; and Kara and Joe Steele, Kenai, Alaska.

The McElroys were married June 18, 1948, in Spokane. They have 10 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
