Third Avenue Stretch To Be Fixed

The city temporarily closed Third Avenue from Bay Street to Spokane Street for road construction Thursday. It will remain closed until June 19.

Drivers should use Seltice Way or Interstate 90 as an alternate route.

The road closure is to accelerate the road construction project on Third Avenue. That way, the city will be able to reopen the road several weeks ahead of schedule with the least amount of inconvenience to the public, city officials said.
