Richard and Dolores Shepard, Spokane, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a reception from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at Cavanaughs Templin’s Resort in Post Falls.

Hosts for the celebration will be their children and spouses: Gary and Joan Shepard, Post Falls; Barbara and Al Wright, Lakeside, Calif.; Alan and Susan Shepard, Alpine, Calif.; and David Shepard, San Diego.

The Shepards were married June 19, 1948, in San Diego. They have five grandchildren.
