It’S A Boy:)
Baby Sean arrived on time and in perfect health Tuesday morning, surrounded by his father, brother, two sisters - and by at least 5,000 cyberviewers who tuned in from around the world to watch what might have been the first live birth carried on the Internet. Weighing in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces and measuring 21 inches long, Sean was born at 10:40 a.m. at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Women in Orlando, Fla., four hours after doctors induced his mother’s labor. Hospital officials identified the woman only as Elizabeth to preserve the family’s privacy. The labor and delivery, recorded by two cameras placed at Elizabeth’s side and shoulder, were broadcast via a Web site owned by America’s Health Network, an Orlando-based cable network. Internet viewers who missed the live version can still see the video.
