Man With Shaved Head Robs Convenience Store

A man with a shaved head held up the Zip-Trip convenience store at 1421 N. Pines early Sunday.

The clerk told police the robber came into the store around 12:30 a.m. and made a small purchase. He then asked to use the restroom. When he returned, he told the clerk he had a weapon, and that he was holding up the store, according to police reports.

The robber told the clerk to open the till and give him the money. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash, deputies said.

The robber was described as 35 to 40 years old, about 5-foot-5 and 140 pounds. His head was shaved, but he wore a mustache.

No arrests have been made.
