Sandpoint Gallery Relocates

Lyman Gallery has relocated to 301 N. First Ave., across from the Panida Theater in downtown Sandpoint.

An open house and artist reception will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday to celebrate the relocation and kick off Sandpoint’s Artwalk 98.

Twenty new photographs by Ross Hall will be shown. Hall’s son, Dann Hall, will be at the open house from 1-3 p.m.

Lyman Gallery features the art of the late Stephen Lyman, a former Sandpoint resident who still is recognized as one of the nation’s top-selling print artists. The gallery also showcases work by local and national artists, and does custom framing.

A Stephen Lyman Retrospective show and sale on July 31 will exhibit more than 60 prints, originals and drawings by the artist.

The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and until 8 p.m. on Fridays. Sunday hours are from noon until 4 p.m.
