A B-17 Flying Fortress, a workhouse of World War II bombing missions in Germany, makes its way over the countryside surrounding Yakima earlier this week as part of the Wings of History Tour. The B-17, along with a B-24 Liberator bomber on the tour, is owned and maintained by the Collins Foundation, a nonprofit group that restores and displays World War II aircraft.
