Yet Another Sour Note On Bobby’S Rap Sheet

Troubled Bobby Brown is in trouble again.

The singer was arrested Sunday afternoon for investigation of misdemeanor sexual battery, released on $2,778 bail and scheduled for a July 17 court appearance.

Police said Brown was placed under citizen’s arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel before being taken into custody by officers.

“I wouldn’t hurt nobody. I wouldn’t touch nobody,” he told reporters.

Brown is married to actress-singer Whitney Houston. Rumors have been circulating that the couple were planning to separate.

Brown was convicted of drunken driving in January. In 1995, he was arrested for allegedly beating a patron at a Walt Disney World nightclub in an argument over a woman, but charges were dropped after an out-of-court settlement was reached.
