Potter Climbs Into 17Th Place

Dan Potter of Coeur d’Alene shot a 1-under-par 71 Wednesday to move into a tie for 17th at the American Junior Golf Association’s Nabisco Mission Hills Desert tournament at Austin, Texas.

Potter stands at 3-over 147 after two rounds.

Californians Jimmy Dunn, Matthew Cohn and Dusty Schmidt take the lead into today’s final round.

Eric Bell went 3 for 3, with two doubles and two RBIs, as the Blue Devils defeated the North Stars 8-5 at Jackson Field.
