Three Teens Arrested For Car Theft
Sheriff’s deputies arrested three Spokane teens, including a 12-year-old girl, near Plantes Ferry Park Sunday for stealing an Isuzu Trooper.
Deputies noticed the vehicle stalled on Upriver Drive just before 3 a.m. Sunday. It had no front license plate, according to police reports.
The 17-year-old driver didn’t have a valid driver’s license, police said. When the teen handed over the registration papers, deputies found they were for another vehicle.
The Isuzu’s vehicle identification number matched the number of a vehicle missing from Blue Crick Too Auto Sales in Airway Heights. The owner of the dealership said he had also suffered vandalism to two other cars that evening, deputies said.
Deputies arrested two males, ages 16 and 17, and a 12-year-old female for taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s permission.
