Florence (Sanger) Hart Spokane

Florence Irene (Sanger) Hart celebrates her 100th birthday today.

Hart, who was born June 27, 1898, in Los Angeles, has been a Spokane resident for 10 years.

She and Harold Hart were married in 1923. He died in 1986. She has been a homemaker and an avid gardener, seamstress and knitter. She also is accomplished at making rugs and cloth dolls.

Hart is the mother of Russell Hart of Chattaroy and the late Theodore Hart. She has five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Hart attributes her long life to good genes, a positive attitude and plenty of hobbies to keep busy.
