Alabama’S Two-Cd Set Out In August

Country supergroup Alabama will release a two-CD set, “For the Record,” featuring 41 No. 1 country hits and three new songs. The collection is scheduled for Aug. 25.

The group released its first single, “Tennessee River,” in May 1980. Alabama has sold more than 58 million units worldwide, according to their record label.

“How Do You Fall in Love,” the first single from the new set, will be released in mid-July. “Keep in Up” and “Five O’Clock 500” are the other new songs.
