Items Needed For Lewiston Auction

Artists are asked to donate chairs or other furniture items for Lewiston’s annual Lewis-Clark Center for Arts and History fund-raiser “Please be Seated!: A ‘Chair’ity Auction” on Oct. 10.

All items must be created or refinished, not commercially produced. Artists are asked to create novelty or artistic decorative items using the medium of their choice. Last year’s fund-raiser included chairs, tables, planter boxes, wreaths and an antique wash basin.

Registration deadline is July 24; deadline for project completion is Sept. 25. For more information or to receive an entry form, call (208) 799-2243.

Auditions

Auditions for Lewiston Civic Theatre’s musical production of “Bye Bye Birdie” will be at 7 p.m. on July 6, 7 and 8 at the theater, 805 Sixth. The production will be presented Sept. 11-27. Call (208) 746-1371 for more information
