Jack And Marjorie Rains Spokane

Jack and Marjorie (Messenger) Rains, Spokane, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 808 E. Sitka.

Hosts for the event will be their children: Sharolyn Rains and Stephen Rains, both of Spokane; David Rains, Cheney; Patricia Knopf, Knoxville, Tenn.; and Michael Rains, Kent, Wash.

The Rains were married June 6, 1948, in Pomeroy, Wash. They have nine grandchildren.
