Boy Wounded In Shooting

A 10-year-old boy from La Crosse, Wash., was accidently shot in the abdomen and is in serious condition at Deaconess Medical Center.

Whitman County Sheriff’s officials suspect he was shot with a .22-caliber pistol by another child.

The boy was taken to Pullman Hospital at 4 p.m., then transported to Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, Sgt. Pat Kelley said.

Sheriff’s officials are still investigating the incident.
