She may be out of a job, but Julia Louis-Dreyfus is going out with style. The “Seinfeld” star was named the funniest supporting female performer in a television series.
Dreyfus was only one winner at the Feb. 22 American Comedy Awards. Others included: Helen Hunt and Jack Nicholson, funniest actress and funniest actor in a movie (“As Good As It Gets”).
Joan Cusask, funniest supporting actress in a movie, “In & Out.” David Hyde Pierce of “Frasier,” funniest supporting male performer in a television series (for a third straight year).
Carol Burnett was a repeat winner for her work on “Mad About You,” earning her second consecutive award for funniest female guest appearance in a TV series.
All the winners will be announced on the March 17 broadcast on Fox.
