Man Attacked By Teenager

A 20-year-old Spokane Valley man was attacked Sunday morning by a teenager who called him a “race mixer,” according to police.

The man was returning to his apartment on South Riverton at about 3 a.m. when he encountered the teenager who yelled the slur then hit him, according to Spokane police.

The blow knocked the man to the ground. The teenager then kicked the man until some other people stopped him. He ran from the scene with a woman.

The teenager had also been involved in an attack on the man late Saturday night at a party in Post Falls, the victim said.

At the Post Falls’ party, the man thought several of his attackers were skinheads, he said.
