Cbs Cancels ‘Four Corners’
CBS has pulled the new drama series “Four Corners” from the Tuesday 10 p.m. slot, according to sources at the network.
After a lackluster premiere two weeks ago despite heavy promotion during the eye network’s Winter Olympics coverage, the program’s fate was sealed last week. It delivered about half the audience its competition pulled on NBC and ABC, according to Nielsen Media Research.
“Four Corners,” which starred Ann-Margret in her first television series, was scheduled to be pre-empted tonight for the “Miss Universe Pageant.” Its time period is likely to be filled the rest of the month by additional episodes of newsmagazine “48 Hours,” which may pop up twice a week on the network’s prime-time schedule as a result.
