Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: A while ago I read about folding and marking a map. I have taken it another step.

I travel in a motor home, towing a horse trailer, usually alone. A missed turn can be awful! It takes a lot of room to turn that rig around.

I have the area of the map I need enlarged at the print shop. Then I can highlight my route without harming the map. I use a magnetic clip to fasten it to the console at a high level so I can read it safely while driving.

If the console is plastic, you can purchase clips with glue and match your interior color and leave it there for later use. - Sandra Thompson, Lindale, Texas
