Man Arrested In Rifle Incident

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Spokane Valley man Friday on charges of second-degree assault.

Ricky D. Jones, 42, of 7112 E. Fifth, was booked into jail that afternoon.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to Jones’s home after a witness reported that a man was in front of the house pointing a rifle at a woman’s head.

Deputies found Jones, arrested him and seized a .22-caliber rifle, which had a bullet in the chamber, according to police reports. , DataTimes
