City fire investigators have not determined what started a fire that engulfed a garage in southwest Coeur d’Alene on Wednesday night.

Smoke damaged the adjoining house, but firefighters stopped the 8:35 p.m. blaze before flames got inside. A car parked next to the garage also was damaged.

No injuries were reported. Damage to the house and garage at 1106 A St. was estimated at $30,000. , DataTimes
