Dear Heloise: I read the hint from the lady who said she enlarged her counted cross-stitch pattern to make it easier to see.

I have done the same thing several times, but when I do the pattern I use a highlighter pen to mark off what I have done. Because the pattern has so many different shades in the flowers, it is much easier to see what I have already stitched. - Dorothy Bromen, Marshall, Minn.
