Mining Firm Acquires New Mineral Rights

New Jersey Mining Co. recently acquired mineral rights to 80 acres adjacent to its Silver Valley mine.

Company officials said the properties acquired were the Wisconsin and Teddy mines. The Wisconsin mine contains gold and copper mineralization and the Teddy contains silver, zinc and lead mineralization, Fred Brackebusch of New Jersey said in a release.

Short-term exploration plans include sampling and mapping to determine drilling targets, he said.
