ABC Sports added Lesley Visser as a sideline reporter for its “Monday Night Football” telecasts.

She joins play-by-play announcer Al Michaels and analysts Boomer Esiason and Dan Dierdorf.

Visser replaces Lynn Swann as the sideline reporter.

Trying to do “too much too early in the season,” Lance Armstrong is leaving the European cycling circuit following his yearlong battle with testicular cancer. He said his health is fine and he plans to train in Austin, Texas, before returning to Europe in a few weeks to race for the U.S. Postal Service team.

Roy Jones Jr. will take on former WBA-IBF light heavyweight champion Virgil Hill in a 12-round bout April 25 at Biloxi, Miss.

Donovan Bailey, the world-record holder in the 100-meter dash, 1996 Olympic gold medalist and 1995 world champion, has changed coaches. Bailey, who had been coached by Dan Pfaff, formerly of LSU, now will be coached by Loren Seagrave.
