George Siroshton Hayden Lake, Idaho
No service will be held for George A. Siroshton, 76, at his request. English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Siroshton, who was born in Montana, died Tuesday.
He had lived in Rathdrum, Idaho, graduating from Rathdrum High School as the student body president in 1940.
Mr. Siroshton then lived in Seattle and California, and was employed by Northrop Corp., Air Craft Division, for 26 years, before retiring in 1977.
He later returned to North Idaho and was a member of the Avondale Golf Course and the Coeur d’Alene Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include a close friend, Laura Riem of Hayden Lake; a brother, James Siroshton of Athol, Idaho; and a sister, Lenora Webster of Coeur d’Alene.
Kathryn ‘June’ Murphy Post Falls
Memorial service for Kathryn Elizabeth “June” Murphy, 72, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Post Falls Church of the Nazarene. English Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Murphy, who was born in Davenport, Iowa, died Monday.
She lived in Butte, Mont., before moving to Wallace in 1968, and moved to Post Falls in 1977.
A homemaker, Mrs. Murphy was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, serving as a Goldstar Mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pat, in 1992.
Survivors include a son, David Murphy of Nevada; three daughters, Sandra White of Coeur d’Alene, Susan Ryan of Colorado and Toni Sue Trude of Wallace; a sister, Marjorie Storey of Montana; two brothers, Jack and Elmer Phillips, both of Montana; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Wilma Nelson Spokane
Memorial service for Wilma R. Nelson, 69, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
Inurnment will follow at Pine Cemetery. Hennessey Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Nelson, who was born in St. Maries, died Sunday.
She graduated from St. Maries High School in 1946 and in 1950, married LeRoy Nelson.
Mrs. Nelson worked as a beautician in Spokane and later as an officer worker for what is now Food Services of American for 47 years.
Her husband preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Corbin Senior Center.
Survivors include two sons, John Nelson of Tacoma and Jim Nelson of Richland; a sister, Joyce Renfro of Spokane; a brother, Gerald Renfro of Prosser, Wash.; and four grandchildren.
