From Staff And Wire Reports

A man stabbed four times at a north Spokane party early Saturday told police he was trying to break up a fight.

The 20-year-old victim was in stable condition at an area hospital with two wounds in his back and two in his side, police said.

Police are searching for the suspect - a 20-year-old white man.

Witnesses told police that one person at the party in the 1200 block of East Longfellow had been causing trouble, and a fight started when he went outside. The victim was injured while trying to pull one man off another, police said. , DataTimes
