The Boundary County School District is asking voters for a two-year, $980,000 maintenance and operations levy.
The money would: keep all school sites open with the same number of teachers and staff; keep the district on its textbook replacement cycle to keep books from becoming outdated; eliminate a program charging students $100 to participate in after-school activities; retain a counselor at the high school; retain one administrative position; and retain the district technology program and instructor.
The Boundary County School District levy needs a simple majority to pass.
