School-To-Work Fair Friday For Disabled

More than 30 agencies are expected at a school-towork fair Friday at Lakeland High School for disabled students and their parents.

It’s the second year for the fair, which tries to prepare young adults with disabilities for independent living by introducing them to job placement, transportation and group home services in the area, said Mary Havercroft, director of special services for Lakeland.

The free fair runs from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday in the Lakeland High School commons. , DataTimes
